Facility Executive Job Description
The Facility Executive is responsible for overseeing the comprehensive management and operation of assigned facilities, ensuring optimal performance, compliance, and service delivery while managing client relationships and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities
Facility Operations Management The role involves managing day-to-day facility operations including maintenance, repairs, cleaning, security, and environmental services. The executive ensures all building systems operate efficiently and implements preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend asset lifecycle.
Client Relationship Management Serves as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their business needs and facility requirements. Develops strong partnerships through regular communication, service reviews, and proactive problem-solving to exceed client expectations and ensure contract retention.
Financial Management Develops and manages facility budgets, tracks operational expenses, identifies cost-saving opportunities, and ensures financial performance aligns with targets. Prepares financial reports and variance analyses for stakeholders.
Team Leadership Supervises facility management staff including engineers, technicians, and support personnel. Provides coaching, performance management, and professional development while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
Vendor and Contract Management Selects, negotiates with, and manages third-party service providers. Ensures vendors meet SLA requirements, monitors performance, and maintains strong supplier relationships while optimizing costs.
Compliance and Risk Management Ensures facilities comply with health, safety, environmental regulations, and building codes. Conducts regular inspections, implements safety programs, manages risk mitigation strategies, and maintains required certifications and permits.
