Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Facilities Manager for a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division. The Facilities Manager will oversee daily operations, ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of the museum premises. Responsibilities include managing vendor contracts, coordinating repairs and upgrades, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and supervising support staff. The role will also involve monitoring budgets and implementing strategies for efficient facility management.
Qualifications
- Facilities management experience, including oversight of maintenance, repairs, and safety measures.
- Knowledge of vendor management and contract negotiations.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Interpersonal and leadership skills to effectively manage a team and resolve issues with stakeholders.
- Basic budgeting and financial management knowledge.
- Adaptability and ability to work under pressure to meet timelines and ensure smooth operations.
- Experience in a museum or similar visitor-oriented facility is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
