Tool Installation Engineer
We are looking for a Tool Installation Engineer with experience in installation, commissioning, and facilities support for capital equipment within semiconductor, pharma, or cleanroom environments. The candidate will be responsible for tool installation projects, infrastructure coordination, specialty gas and utility systems, safety compliance, and cross-functional project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead tool installation projects including design review, construction, commissioning, quality, safety, and handover.
• Coordinate infrastructure facilities including pipe connections, electrical systems, exhaust, specialty gas, and chemical supply systems.
• Support startup and qualification of process equipment and gas systems.
• Manage contractors/PMC teams and coordinate with internal lab service and facilities teams.
• Drive project schedules, cost optimization, vendor coordination, and technical reviews.
• Conduct TBM meetings, safety reviews, ITP reviews, and project coordination activities.
• Prepare and review design drawings and facility layouts.
Qualifications:
• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in installation and commissioning of capital equipment.
• Experience in semiconductor, pharma, cleanroom, or similar manufacturing environments.
• Knowledge of specialty gas/chemical systems and facilities utilities.
• Experience with process equipment, machine tools, or industrial tools.
• Hands-on exposure to cleanroom/laboratory setups and safe work practices.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Creo, NX, or Solid Edge.
Preferred Skills:
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Experience leading technical projects and cross-functional coordination.
• Familiarity with MS Office tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
• Comfortable with travel and site-based activities.
