Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Face-to-Face Fundraiser based in Lucknow. The Face-to-Face Fundraiser will engage with the local community to build awareness about the organization’s mission and initiatives. Day-to-day responsibilities include interacting with potential donors, explaining the impact of their contributions, and encouraging them to support Doon Animal Welfare’s programs through donations. Fundraisers will represent the organization at events, public places, and other outreach opportunities to inspire others to join the cause.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage a diverse audience
- Sales or marketing experience, including understanding of persuasive techniques
- Public speaking confidence and the ability to articulate key messages effectively
- Passion for animal welfare and a commitment to the mission of Doon Animal Welfare
- Ability to work in a team and build collaborative relationships
- Prior experience in fundraising or community outreach is a plus
- Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as required
