Established in 1994, CBM India has been working towards creating an inclusive society where individuals with disabilities can enjoy their rights and realize their full potential. In alignment with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (2006), CBM India collaborates with partners, institutions, and government agencies to implement programs in healthcare, education, and livelihood across 26 states. The organization also focuses on advocacy, capacity-building, and knowledge sharing to create lasting change for individuals at risk of or living with disabilities.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Face-to-Face Fundraiser based in Hyderabad. The role involves engaging with potential donors in person to raise awareness about CBM India's mission and impact. Key responsibilities include effectively communicating the organization’s goals, building relationships with prospective donors, and securing financial contributions. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to represent the organization professionally, participate in team activities, and ensure fundraising targets are achieved consistently.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with diverse individuals.
• Basic knowledge of fundraising principles and techniques, with experience or enthusiasm for donor outreach.
• Ability to work independently, stay motivated, and meet fundraising goals in an on-site and face-to-face setting.
• Teamwork and collaboration skills to coordinate with colleagues and organizational representatives effectively.
• A passion for social causes and a strong understanding of disability and development issues is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in fundraising, sales, or customer service is a plus but not mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline is preferred but not required.
