Role Description The Facade Site Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, responsible for overseeing day-to-day facade installation activities at project sites. The role involves supervising site teams, coordinating with contractors and vendors, monitoring work progress, and ensuring adherence to project plans, safety standards, and quality specifications. The supervisor will review drawings, manage site resources, verify measurements, track materials, and resolve technical or logistical issues that arise during installation. This position also requires maintaining accurate site documentation, reporting project status to management, and collaborating with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely and successful completion of facade works.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong site supervision skills, including monitoring daily activities, guiding installation teams, and enforcing safety and quality standards.
- Candidates should possess skills in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings, verifying measurements, and coordinating technical details with engineers and consultants.
- Candidates should possess skills in project coordination, such as scheduling work, tracking materials, liaising with vendors and contractors, and reporting progress to management.
- Candidates should possess skills in problem-solving and decision-making to address on-site challenges, rectify installation issues, and maintain project timelines.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, consultants, site workers, and internal teams.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field, with prior experience in facade, cladding, or building envelope projects preferred.
- Familiarity with construction safety practices, quality control procedures, and local building regulations; proficiency in basic computer tools (e.g., email, MS Office) is beneficial.
