Role Description
We are seeking a Facade - Estimation Manager for a full-time, on-site position based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. This role involves managing the estimation process for facade projects, preparing detailed cost estimates, interpreting architectural drawings, and coordinating with design and procurement teams. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining and updating cost databases, engaging with clients and suppliers, and supporting cost optimization strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Estimation, Costing, and Budget preparation for facade and glazing systems
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and technical documents
- Experience in vendor management and procurement processes
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Project management and coordination skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
- Proficiency in relevant design and estimation software tools
- Strong communication and negotiation skills when liaising with clients and suppliers
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Prior experience in facade engineering, construction, or a related industry is advantageous
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
