Role Description This full-time, on-site role as a Facade Draughtsman / Junior Architect – Elevation Design is based in the Greater Chennai Area. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing detailed façade and elevation drawings, assisting in architectural design development, and supporting the coordination of aluminum window and exterior cladding layouts. The role involves collaborating with senior architects, project managers, and site teams to ensure design accuracy and alignment with project requirements. The candidate will review technical specifications, integrate design changes, and maintain drawing documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Participation in client meetings, site visits, and cross-functional discussions to resolve design issues and enhance project outcomes is also expected.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, with an emphasis on façade and elevation detailing.
- Candidates should possess relevant skills in Software Development and Integration where applicable to design workflows, such as integrating CAD/BIM tools or design automation solutions.
- Candidates should possess Project Management skills, including basic planning, coordination with stakeholders, and tracking design deliverables.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and familiarity with façade systems, aluminum windows, and building materials.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to interpret architectural drawings, and willingness to learn and adapt to project needs.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team on-site.
