Role Description The Facade Billing Engineer is responsible for managing all billing and quantity-related activities for facade and window projects. This full-time, on-site role is based in Chandigarh, India, and involves preparing and verifying Bills of Quantities (BOQs), coordinating with project teams, and ensuring accurate measurement and documentation of work completed. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring project progress for billing milestones, conducting rate analysis, reconciling quantities with drawings and site reports, and updating billing systems with verified data. The role also requires reviewing contractor invoices, resolving quantity or billing discrepancies, supporting cost control efforts, and preparing periodic reports for management and clients. The Facade Billing Engineer collaborates with engineering, procurement, and site teams to maintain transparency and accuracy in all financial aspects of facade projects.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong expertise in BOQ preparation and Quantity Surveying for facade and window works.
- Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills and proficiency in Billing Systems to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
- Candidates should possess experience in Rate Analysis and cost assessment for materials, labor, and subcontractor services.
- Candidates should possess knowledge of construction drawings, facade systems, and standard measurement practices.
- Relevant degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and billing/estimation software; familiarity with CAD or similar tools is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to work with cross-functional project teams.
- Prior experience in facade, glazing, or building envelope projects is preferred.
