Summary:
The primary function of the Sales Support representative is to assist and support the Company’s outside sales force by supplying quotes, pricing and stock, entering orders/reserves by working Happy Fox tickets and answering incoming phone calls. Skill sets required for the position: 10 key, AS400, Outlook (emails), phone system Ring Central/Max (answer and use for calls) Keyboarding for Word, basic Excel input into a spreadsheet, familiarity with internet navigation of website and Paylocity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Attend two mandatory, nationally hosted sales meetings per year (typically, in February & August). During these meetings, one Sales Support Representative rotates responsibility for working in the office.
- Assist at the national sales meeting line showings (standing and folding), handing out story of the lines, distributing reports and materials needed in the zone meetings during this time.
- Answering incoming calls from reps and transferred customers from Customer Service to assist with requests, such as orders, reserves, memos, price, stock, mill inquiries, claims, lookups, quotes, and more.
- Work Happy Fox tickets submitted to Sales Support by processing memo orders, maintenance orders, file claims, perform mill checks, process CFA’s, check and approve pricing, image FR certificates, etc.
- Assist specialty customers assigned by manager to process orders and respond directly to their emails.
- Be familiarized with our selling products and the appropriate teams.
- Correspond with customers and OSRs who email directly.
- Make sample kits for sales reps as requested by OSR or management
- Process outside sales representative's memos in Customer Relationship Management system
- Assist other employees with special projects as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High School education or equivalent
- Must work well with others
- Must be able to multitask
- Must be able to work in a noisy area independently
- Process knowledge of Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook
- Data entry experience is helpful
- Must posessess strong typing skills
- Good communication skills –oral and written
