Fabrication Shift InchargeVERTEX RESEARCH CENTREfull-timeRequired skillsAutoCADCADprototypesSolidWorksVertexAbout the role VERTEX RESEARCH CENTRE Website: vertexresearchcentre.com Job details: Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate all fabrication activities during the assigned shift (Day or Evening).Ensure the production of high-quality mechanical parts and prototypes in line with R&D specifications and timelines.Interpret technical drawings, and fabrication instructions accurately.Manage fabrication staff, allocate tasks, and monitor performance throughout the shift.Operate or oversee the use of machines, manual machines, welding tools, 3D printers, and other fabrication equipment.Collaborate with engineering and design teams to resolve fabrication challenges.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment at all times.Oversee shift changeovers to ensure smooth communication and task continuity.Perform routine inspections of tools and machinery, and coordinate maintenance as needed.Uphold all workplace safety regulations and company policies.Shift Schedules:Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PMEvening Shift: 2:30 PM – 10:30 PMEducation & Experience:Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.3 years of fabrication or machining experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity.Technical Skills:Strong understanding of mechanical fabrication processes (machining, welding, forming, additive manufacturing).Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and CAD designs (SolidWorks, AutoCAD preferred).Experience in working with various materials such as metals, plastics, and composites Click on Apply to know more.
