- Welding processes (GMAW, GTAW, SMAW, SAW, FCAW),
- Preparation of Process Planning Sheet (PPS),
- Metal Working (Rolling, pressing, Bending, Cutting etc),
- Heat treatment (Annealing, Normalizing, Stress reliving) ,
- All types of Plate Raw materials (Steel, Alloy, Stainless steel-Austenitic and Martensitic),
- Awareness of raw material standards like -ASTM, ASME, ANSI, JIS, DIN, EN, GOST etc.,
- Awareness about WPS/PQR/WPQ/Documentation and Upgradation time to time basis.,
- Knowledge about various welding, brazing filler materials, and equipment,
- Conceptualization and preparation of shop level manufacturing jigs and fixtures required for various fabrication and welding processes,
- Review, approval, management and indent raising for general consumables & FOS (factory operating supplies) for fabrication shops
