Role Description
Fabric Platform Lead / Infrastructure Engineer
Exp
7+ Yrs. of experience in IT & relevant experience on MS Fabric administration.
Must-have Skills
- Microsoft Fabric administration — workspace creation, capacity assignment, Git integration, environment configuration
- Azure AD / Entra ID — service principal creation, AD group management, app registrations, permission assignment
- Azure networking — private endpoints, VNet configuration, firewall rules, on-prem data gateway setup
- Key Vault management — secret migration, access policies, managed identities
- Azure DevOps — repo management, CI/CD pipeline configuration, YAML pipelines, DACPAC deployment
- PowerShell scripting — Fabric REST APIs, Power BI Admin APIs, bulk automation scripts
- Fabric CI/CD library — Customer uses this for Hub deployment. Must understand how it works to replicate in new tenant
Nice-to-have
- ARM templates / Bicep for infrastructure-as-code
- Fabric capacity management and Spark pool configuration
- Experience with cross-tenant migrations
