Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Fabric Manager and Sourcing professional, based in Tirupur. The primary responsibilities include sourcing fabrics and managing procurement processes, ensuring raw materials meet quality standards, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. The role requires overseeing quality control processes, negotiating with suppliers for cost-effective solutions, and managing a team to ensure seamless workflow. The candidate will also collaborate with design and production teams to source the right textiles for various product lines while adhering to project timelines and sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding and experience in fabric procurement and textiles sourcing
• Knowledge in Quality Control standards and practices
• Team Management skills, with experience in efficiently leading and motivating a team
• Proven abilities in Negotiation and Vendor Management
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Work experience in garment production or similar manufacturing fields is advantageous
• Proficiency in local languages and understanding of the textile market in Tirupur is a plus
