Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain backend services with high-performance APIs.
Develop new services and extend existing ones in a large-scale microservices architecture.
Conduct unit, functional, integration, and automated testing.
Ensure performance and scalability while managing cloud infrastructure.
Participate in service ownership, including potential on-call duties.
Document technical processes for self-service use.
Support internal customers through outreach and advocacy.
Requirements
Strong coding skills in Java or the ability to quickly learn new languages.
Experience implementing RESTful APIs in scalable cloud environments.
Hands-on experience designing and operating distributed systems in AWS.
5+ years of experience with a degree in Computer Science or related field.
Strong object-oriented design skills.
Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Passion for continuous learning and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
Bonus Skills (Nice to Have)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with Python and Scala.
Knowledge of containerization and AWS deployment pipelines.
Experience with Kafka, NoSQL/SQL databases, and functional design patterns.
