client projects through all project phases from Analysis to Go-Live.Provide expert guidance on technical best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization for X++ development.Architect and implement complex 3rd party application integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, OData, REST/SOAP APIs, and DMF to connect D365 F&O with external systems (CRM, WMS, EDI, Banking, Logistics platforms).Lead new module development initiatives, including custom business logic, workflow configurations, and complex customizations to meet unique client requirements.Design and develop custom reports, invoice formats, shipping documents, and other print format outputs using SSRS, Electronic Reporting (GER), and document templates.Manage the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) within Azure DevOps, including branching strategies, code reviews, builds, and CI/CD pipelines.Collaborate closely with Functional Consultants and Solution Architects to translate business requirements into scalable technical specifications.Troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues, performance bottlenecks, and environment stability problems across all project phases including post-Go-Live support.Mentor and coach junior and senior technical consultants, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.Conduct comprehensive code reviews to ensure adherence to Microsoft best practices and maintain high code quality.Lead technical workshops with clients to define integration strategies, data migration approaches, and environment planning.Manage Lifecycle Services (LCS) for environment deployment, applying updates, and monitoring system health.Provide advisory on D365 F&O licensing models, user types (Full, Team Member, Operations, etc.), and license optimization strategies to clients.Ensure documentation of technical designs, deployment guides, and release notes is up-to-date and accurate.Act as the primary technical point of contact for client IT teams and stakeholders.Expertise :Core Development: Expert proficiency in X++ programming, Visual Studio, and D365 F&O development tools with extensive experience in custom module development.Architecture: Deep understanding of D365 F&O architecture, data models, and extension patterns.Integration: Extensive hands-on experience integrating D365 F&O with 3rd party applications including CRM systems, WMS solutions, EDI providers, payment gateways, logistics platforms, and legacy systems using Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus), OData, Custom Services, REST/SOAP APIs, and Dual Write.Data Management: Mastery of Data Management Framework (DMF), BYOD (Bring Your Own Database), and Azure Data Lake.Reporting: Strong skills in SSRS report development, custom print formats (invoices, packing slips, purchase orders), Power BI embedded reports, and Electronic Reporting (GER) for statutory and regulatory documents.DevOps: Proficiency in Azure DevOps, Git version control, and build automation.Environment Mgmt: Hands-on experience with LCS, environment refreshing, and package deployment.Licensing Knowledge: Strong understanding of D365 F&O licensing models, user types, SKU differences, and ability to advise clients on license optimization.Industry Experience: Proven experience working with Manufacturing industries, understanding their unique processes and requirements.Project Lifecycle: Demonstrated ability to work through all project phases from Analysis, Design, Development, Testing, to Go-Live and post-production support.Soft Skills: Payable (AP) & Accounts Receivable (AR)Supply Chain Management (SCM) technical schemasProduction Control technical schemas (Manufacturing orders, BOMs, Routings)Warehouse Management (WHS) technical schemas including Advanced Warehouse Management Systems (AWMS)Master Planning & MRP technical schemasRetail / Commerce (POS development experience is a plus) Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering.Experience: Minimum 8 years of total experience with at least 5 years dedicated to Dynamics AX/365 F&O, with proven track record working in Manufacturing industry implementations.Integration Experience: Demonstrated experience in implementing 3rd party integrations and developing custom modules.Project Phases: Must have worked through complete project lifecycles from Analysis to Go-Live in at least 3 implementations.Certifications: Must hold 'Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365: Finance and Operations Apps Developer Associate'.
