Role Description This is a full-time, on-site F&B Captain role based in New Delhi. The F&B Captain oversees daily restaurant floor operations, ensuring that service standards are consistently met and guests receive a seamless dining experience. Responsibilities include supervising service staff, assigning sections and duties, briefing the team before service, and monitoring food and beverage service quality throughout shifts. The role involves welcoming and seating guests, handling special requests, addressing concerns promptly, and coordinating with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely and accurate order delivery. The F&B Captain also supports training of team members, maintains hygiene and safety standards, manages billing checks for accuracy, and assists with inventory or opening/closing procedures as required.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Supervisory Skills, including team coordination, shift management, and the ability to guide and mentor service staff.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Service Standards and Food Service, with a focus on sequence of service, hygiene, safety, and quality presentation.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication abilities to engage guests, resolve issues, and collaborate effectively with colleagues and management.
- Prior experience in a restaurant, bar, or casual dining environment, preferably in a captain or head server role.
- Understanding of basic POS operations, billing procedures, and order management.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, in a fast-paced environment.
- Diploma or certification in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
