Role Description The F&B Associate role is a full-time, on-site position based at Sterling Holiday Resorts in Nainital. The individual in this role will assist in daily food and beverage operations, including setting up dining areas, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. Responsibilities include providing courteous and efficient customer service, coordinating with kitchen and bar teams, and ensuring that guest needs and dietary preferences are handled promptly and professionally. The F&B Associate will support buffet and à la carte service, help with inventory checks for F&B supplies, and follow all safety and quality standards. The role involves working closely with colleagues and supervisors to deliver consistent, memorable dining experiences aligned with Sterling’s hospitality values.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Food Service and Food & Beverage operations, with a strong focus on hygiene and quality standards.
- Candidates should possess Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Candidates should possess Culinary Skills related to basic food handling, presentation, and an understanding of menu items.
- Relevant experience in hotels, resorts, or restaurants, preferably in F&B or front-of-house roles, is beneficial.
- A hospitality diploma or certification in hotel management or F&B service is an advantage, along with the ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Attention to detail, teamwork, a professional attitude, and adherence to safety, sanitation, and company policies are expected.
