About the role
The role of Hybrid Cloud Engineer is a specialist role and involve the following roles and responsibilities:
Architect, deploy, and manage services on one or more major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Should be well-versed with Private Cloud Technologies – Vmware etc.
Design and architect scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms.
Plan and execute cloud migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Assess and evaluate existing on-premises infrastructure for cloud readiness.
Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure using best practices for performance, security, and cost optimization.
Automate cloud operations and monitoring to ensure high availability and resilience.
Manage and maintain Wintel environments, ensuring seamless integration with cloud infrastructure.
Provide expertise in Windows Server administration and related technologies.
Design and implement robust storage and backup solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.
Optimize storage and backup processes to align with business continuity requirements.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud services.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for cloud and on-premises infrastructure issues.
Administer and support Microsoft infrastructure, including Active Directory, Exchange, and related services.
Should have hands-on experience on Terraform.
Should have hands-on experience on design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI ArgoCD, or Azure DevOps.
Monitor and troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
Implement and manage security best practices for cloud infrastructure and applications.
