The Formation Evaluation group maintains a fundamental understanding of wellbore logging measurement technologies and measurement of reservoir properties from rock samples obtained from the wellbore. They use methodologies that provide accurate interpretation of reservoir and fluid properties and work with the subsurface team to evaluate results. Beyond data interpretation, specialists lead the planning for wellbore data acquisition, and steward the acquisition process with an eye on quality controls all the way through post-processing. Specialists may have a geoscience, engineering or other technical background.
