1. OVERVIEW
1.1. External Relations Executive is appointed by the Head of School and reports to Head of Admissions and Marketing
1.2. The External Relations Executive will work collaboratively with all the faculty and Marketing team.
1.3. External Relations Executive is a full time employee of Stonehill.
1.4. The External Relations Executive will assist in managing communication between corporates and the admissions department, in coordination with the External Relations Manager.
1.5. Supports the External Relations Manager in carrying out responsibilities related to the Alumni Outreach programme.
2. EXPECTATIONS
It is expected that the External Relations Executive will:
2.1. Demonstrate an explicit commitment to the philosophy, mission and vision of the school as determined by the Governing council and the Senior Management Team.
2.2. Be aligned with and promote the School’s vision, mission, identity, and core values.
2.3. Keep abreast of the competencies and skills required of the position.
2.4. Communicate effectively with all school constituencies as appropriate.
2.5. Maintain an effective working relationship with colleagues, Heads of departments and Senior Management Teams
2.6. Be familiar with the operational practices and expectations of the school.
2.7. Adhere to the school policies and guidelines.
2.8. Attend all the meetings as per the requirement of the Head of School and Senior Management Team.
3. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
3.1. Support outreach initiatives to engage identified target audiences under the guidance of
the External Relations Manager
3.2. Assist in building and maintaining long-term relationships with corporate entities, including consulates, senior leaders, and key influencers.
3.3. Develop relationships with relocation agencies, mobility teams, and relevant organisational influencers.
3.4. Assist in nurturing relationships with HNIs in Bangalore and other identified source markets.
3.5. Support the communication and reinforcement of the School’s value proposition to target audiences, promoting understanding and engagement.
3.6. Identify new leads and potential target markets and support follow-up activities in coordination with the External Relations Manager.
3.7. Represent the School at promotional events, fairs, and outreach activities, as assigned.
3.8. Support advocacy and awareness of the IB education system in external engagements.
3.9. Execute the Alumni engagement initiatives in coordination with the External Relations Manager.
3.10. Update, maintain, and manage alumni databases and records.
3.11. Support engagement with stakeholders to help develop partnerships that enable opportunities such as internships, guest speakers, event sponsorships, and collaborations
3:12. Document meetings, update trackers, compile and update reports, and follow up with key stakeholders within given timelines for the completion of action points.
3:13. Update and maintain records of partnerships, MOUs, and contact databases
3:14. Coordinate, schedule and participate in meetings with corporate partners, consulates, and other stakeholders.
3:15. Provide operational and coordination support for parent engagement initiatives
