We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced SharePoint Framework (SPFx) Developers interested in working with a rapidly growing SaaS start up building enterprise systems on the Microsoft ecosystem.
This is an opportunity to join an early stage product team developing advanced SharePoint based enterprise software designed for large organisations and scalable deployment across multiple environments.
The role will focus on backend engineering, system automation and solution packaging within the SharePoint Framework environment.
You will play a key role in building the technical backbone that enables system deployment, configuration and automation through SPFx packages.
This position offers the opportunity to work closely with the founding team and contribute directly to the technical foundation of a high potential SaaS platform.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain backend functionality within SharePoint Framework (SPFx) solutions.
Build automated processes to generate and configure SharePoint Lists programmatically during solution deployment.
Design and implement system rules, logic engines and automation workflows.
Develop deployment logic that enables SPFx packages to automatically provision required SharePoint Lists, columns and configuration structures.
Ensure solutions can be installed efficiently across SharePoint environments using packaged deployment models.
Integrate SPFx components with SharePoint APIs and Microsoft Graph where required.
Design backend structures that support scalable enterprise data models and workflows.
Assist with packaging, preparing and optimising SPFx solutions for deployment across client environments.
Work collaboratively with the product team to translate system requirements into reliable backend functionality.
Required Skills And Experience
Strong experience developing solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
Solid experience with TypeScript, React and modern JavaScript development.
Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online architecture and SharePoint APIs.
Experience creating and managing SharePoint Lists, columns and site structures programmatically.
Experience implementing automation rules, logic engines or workflow behaviour within applications.
Experience preparing SPFx packages and deployment ready SharePoint solutions.
Strong understanding of solution packaging, deployment and installation processes within SharePoint environments.
Ability to design scalable backend logic for enterprise systems.
Desirable Experience
Experience working on enterprise scale SharePoint solutions.
Experience integrating Microsoft Graph API.
Experience working with Power Platform integrations such as Power Automate or Power Apps.
Experience building systems with structured rule based workflows or automation engines.
Experience working in early stage product environments or start ups.
