Title: Export Sales Manager - SE Asia
Location: Remote, India

What Will Your Day Look Like?
You will be responsible for driving the growth of Agthia’s Snacks portfolio across the South East Asian region by identifying high-potential markets, appointing and managing strategic distribution partners, and implementing localized route-to-market strategies. You will ensure sales, profitability, and market share targets are achieved while navigating complex regulatory and Halal requirements across the region.
How Will You Make an Impact?
Market Expansion & Strategy
- Identify and enter new high-growth markets across South East Asia
- Develop territory-specific business plans to expand Agthia’s footprint
- Identify new export opportunities and build new business accounts
Distributor & Partner Management
- Lead selection, onboarding, and performance management of distributors
- Build strong relationships with importers, customers, and partners
- Conduct regular business reviews and Joint Business Plans (JBP)
Sales & Commercial Excellence
- Drive sales growth, profitability, and market share across the region
- Manage regional P&L including revenue, margins, and trade spend efficiency
- Develop aggressive sales strategies to maximize profits
Execution Excellence (4Ps & Market Presence)
- Ensure strong execution across Product, Price, Placement, and Promotion
- Drive presence across Modern Trade and E-commerce channels
Regulatory & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, labeling, packaging, and Halal requirements
- Manage export documentation, licensing, and shipping processes
Financial & Operational Discipline
- Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collections
- Plan and execute sales activities within budgets and timelines
Education and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, or Marketing (MBA preferred)
- Experience: 6–10 years of experience in Exports / International Sales within the FMCG sector and At least 3–4 years of experience managing South East Asian markets
Technical Skills
- Proven track record in managing complex distributor networks across multiple cultures
- Strong experience in export, marketing, and category development
- Solid understanding of financial metrics including P&L, ROI, and working capital management
- Strong knowledge of SEA trade regulations, import duties (ASEAN agreements), and Halal certification processes
- Export documentation & international trade compliance
- Knowledge of SEA regulatory frameworks and Halal certification requirements
