About us
Jai Bharat Gum & Chemicals Ltd. is a public limited company engaged in the export of guar gum, spices and agri-commodities to the Gulf and emerging Asian markets. As we expand our export operations from our new Gurgaon office, we're looking for an experienced Export Manager with a strong sales track record in spices and pulses to drive and grow our international business.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Export Sales Manager role based in Gurugram.
What you'll do
- Own and grow export sales of spices and pulses across Gulf and emerging Asian markets
- Develop and manage international buyer relationships; generate and convert enquiries
- Negotiate prices, contracts and payment terms; manage margins on every deal
- Track global commodity prices and market trends to set competitive quotes
- Identify and onboard new buyers and markets
- Coordinate order execution end-to-end — with the plant, logistics and documentation teams
- Oversee shipment timelines, ensuring on-time, fully compliant deliveries
- Manage LC/payment terms in coordination with the banking & trade finance team
What we're looking for (must-have)
- Proven export-sales experience specifically in spices and pulses — this is essential
- 5–10 years in agri-commodity / food exports, with a demonstrable buyer network
- Strong understanding of export documentation, INCOTERMS, LCs and shipping processes
- Familiarity with Gulf and/or emerging Asian markets
- Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship-management skills
- Graduate/Postgraduate; a qualification in international trade is a plus
- Willingness to travel internationally for buyer meetings and trade fairs
