Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Ahmedabad for an Export Sales Engineer. The Export Sales Engineer will be responsible for identifying and engaging with international clients, providing technical support and solutions, and managing the sales cycle from lead generation to post-sale support. Additional responsibilities will include preparing proposals, addressing client inquiries, and working closely with the engineering team to customize solutions as per client needs. Building strong customer relationships and supporting global business expansion efforts are key aspects of this role.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Sales and Sales Engineering to identify, engage with, and secure new business opportunities
- Technical Support expertise to provide customers with reliable and accurate solutions
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to effectively engage with clients and maintain healthy relationships
- Experience in international sales is preferred, particularly within the marine and industrial sectors
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering and MBA in Marketing or a related field is required
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiarity with technical documentation and proposal preparation
