Role & Responsibilities:
- Should be a competent professional with 10+ years of commendable experience in Technical Projects, Sales, Marketing, Projects in Engineering Products, Machine, Steel, Tendering, proposal, and Estimation.
- Experienced in Vendor approval, generation of business enquiries, submission of offers, reviewing PO & contract terms, Execution of order/project, coordination with production planning, production, QA, despatch, logistics dept at plant for smooth execution of orders, Coordination with commercial, legal/contracts dept, communication with customers, payment follow up, reconciliation of quantity and closure of order/project.
- Clientele could be - Major Government and Private Sector (Defence, Energy, Railways, Heavy Engineering, Power Sector, Oil and Gas)
- Experiences in International Sales, Export Marketing, Business Development, especially for North America, South America, Europe, the Middle East, GCC & MEENA countries.
- Extensive knowledge in Oil and Gas, Power, Defence, and Steel Industry in India & Aboard.
- Enquiry generation, day-to-day techno-commercial interactions, approval process, Audit of mill, and Final Negotiations.
- Product: Double column Machines, Moving Column Machines, Hard Turning, Sliding head Machines, Mult-spindle Machines, Heavy Duty Lathes
- Product: Heavy Forgings, Seamless Pipes and Tubes, ERW Tubes & Pipes, etc.
- Proficient in marketing, projects, and sales for the Engineering industry
- Should be able to execute sales and marketing of Pipes for the domestic and international markets.
- Must develop business for Steel Pipes and to report the work progress ( MIS) directly to the Director / Business Head / Reporting Manager.
- Should define all group information requirements, marketing information system and sales support framework, ensure timely submission of techno-commercial offers to customers and duly fill templates for the enquiries
- Procurement of Structural Steel to the tune of 20000 MT to give more value to products
- Should implement competitive and market intelligence strategies through systematic and objective analysis of relevant information related to target markets, competitors, and economic environments.
- Should maintain relationships with customers through regular visits for technical discussion
- Should be able to manage and launch integrated multi-channel marketing campaigns and participate in various seminars/summits for brand propagation; convince customers to take EPC, and establish a hierarchy of decision-making at the client’s end
- Should be able to generate leads/enquiries through different sources, perform territory mapping exercise/study of competition and supervise proper reception of tendered / non-tendered enquiries.
- Should execute orders with all EPC and the Government. SBUs and prepared tender documents for government companies such as BHEL, etc.
Requirements:
Experience: 10 to 15 years, preferably working with Global EPC contractors in project sales.
Qualification: BE -Mech/Electrical/Prod/ Metallurgy
