Company Description
Evergrade International is an India-based export house that connects quality Indian manufacturers and suppliers with buyers in international markets. We manage the full export cycle on our clients' behalf — sourcing and vendor coordination, competitive quotations and proforma invoicing, export documentation, and logistics — so overseas buyers receive reliable supply, accurate paperwork, and on-time delivery from a single accountable partner. Our team works closely with manufacturers, freight forwarders, and customs partners to keep global trade moving smoothly and to help our clients run their international procurement with confidence.
Role Description
The Export Operations role is a full-time, on-site position based in Gurugram. The role involves managing day-to-day export execution — preparing and reviewing export documentation (proforma and commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, bills of lading, and related shipping documents), coordinating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, suppliers, and internal teams, and ensuring compliance with Indian export regulations and destination-country requirements. The team member will track shipments from order to delivery, keep internal systems and trackers updated with accurate status information, and proactively resolve issues relating to delays, documentation, or client requirements. Responsibilities also include responding to client and supplier queries, maintaining well-organised records for audits and reconciliation, supporting import/export operations as needed, and contributing to process improvements that enhance the speed, accuracy, and reliability of our export operations.
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with export documentation and a strong understanding of the end-to-end export process.
- Experience in import/export operations and a working knowledge of shipping and customs procedures (Incoterms, HS codes, IEC/DGFT filings, and GST on exports is a plus).
- Effective customer-service and communication skills, with the ability to interact clearly and professionally with overseas clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Familiarity with logistics coordination, shipment tracking, and international trade regulations and documentation.
- Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools (spreadsheets, documentation and email systems) and a willingness to learn new systems and trackers.
- Prior experience in export or logistics operations preferred; a diploma or degree in international business, supply chain, commerce, or a related field is an advantage.
