Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Export Manager role based in Bengaluru. The Export Manager will oversee end-to-end export operations, including managing export documentation, coordinating with logistics partners, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements. The role involves identifying and developing new international markets, managing relationships with overseas distributors and key accounts, and driving export sales targets. The Export Manager will collaborate with internal teams such as production, supply chain, finance, and marketing to ensure timely order fulfillment, accurate pricing, and effective promotional activities in target markets. The role also includes monitoring market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to refine export strategies and support business growth.
Qualifications
- Strong Export and International Trade skills, including documentation, customs procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience in International Business and Business Planning to develop, execute, and optimize export strategies.
- Proven Sales and account management skills in international markets, preferably in FMCG or food products.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills across diverse cultures and regions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, Commerce, or a related field; a master’s degree or relevant certification is an advantage.
- Ability to analyze market data, forecast demand, and manage budgets and pricing for export markets.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems, MS Excel, and export management tools.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
