Role Description The Export Manager role at Ceakay Industries - India is a full-time, on-site position based in Kottayam. The Export Manager oversees end-to-end export operations, including order processing, documentation, shipment planning, and coordination with freight forwarders, customs agents, and international clients. Daily responsibilities include managing export documentation, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, monitoring delivery timelines, and resolving logistics or customs-related issues. The role also involves developing export strategies, identifying new markets, supporting pricing decisions, and collaborating with sales and production teams to meet customer requirements. The Export Manager is expected to maintain strong client relationships, track performance metrics, and contribute to continuous improvement of export processes.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Export operations, including documentation, logistics coordination, and regulatory compliance.
- Skills in Business Planning and strategic analysis to develop and execute export growth plans.
- Knowledge of International Business and International Trade practices, regulations, and market dynamics.
- Experience in Sales and customer relationship management within export or related industries.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, International Trade, or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic ERP or export management software tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work on-site in Kottayam, manage multiple shipments and deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in export management or international sales in manufacturing or trading companies is an advantage.
