Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Export Executive to manage end-to-end international trade operations for a manufacturing setup. The candidate will be responsible for handling export-import documentation, coordinating with freight forwarders and customs authorities, and ensuring smooth and compliant shipment processes. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of EXIM procedures, logistics coordination, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle complete export and import documentation including invoice, packing list, bill of lading, shipping bill, and other related documents.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, CHA (Custom House Agents), and logistics partners for timely shipment execution.
- Manage customs clearance processes for both exports and imports.
- Ensure compliance with DGFT regulations, GST requirements, and international trade laws.
- Track shipments and provide regular updates to internal teams and clients.
- Prepare and verify export-import documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Handle LC (Letter of Credit), advance payments, and other trade finance documentation.
- Coordinate with production, stores, and dispatch teams for shipment planning.
- Manage vendor and client communication related to logistics and shipment status.
- Maintain proper records of shipments, invoices, and compliance documentation.
- Identify and resolve issues related to delays, documentation errors, or customs queries.
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 4–5 years of experience in export operations (preferably in manufacturing industry).
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of EXIM policies, customs procedures, and international shipping terms.
- Experience in handling CHA, freight forwarders, and shipping lines.
- Familiarity with Incoterms (FOB, CIF, EXW, etc.).
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
