Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role located in Mumbai, with the flexibility to work remotely on occasion. The Export Business Development Manager – Coffee & Agri will oversee international business operations, develop and execute strategies to expand export markets, and build strong relationships with global clients. Key responsibilities include conducting market research, identifying new business opportunities, managing sales initiatives, negotiating contracts, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
· Drive end-to-end buyer acquisition across global markets (EU, US, Middle East)
· Build and manage the complete sales pipeline — outreach, qualification, negotiation, closure
· Structure and close deals aligned with market pricing and margin realities
· Translate buyer requirements into actionable inputs — quality specs, grades, certifications, timelines
· Leverage your network and market understanding to accelerate deal flow
- Contribute to how Indian coffee is positioned and sold globally
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in International Business, Export-related regulations, and practices
- Existing active buyer network (roasters, importers, traders)
- Strong skills in Business Development and Sales to foster client relationships and drive revenue growth
- Experience in Business Planning, including crafting strategies and implementing growth-focused initiatives
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills tailored to diverse global audiences
- Experience in the coffee or agri-export sectors is highly desirable
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and early-stage environments
- Confident handling global buyer conversations independently
Compensation
· ₹12 LPA fixed
· Uncapped performance variable
