Manager – Planning & Programme Controls

The Real Estate Developments Division is responsible for the development and delivery of operational for the real estate projects at Expo City Dubai. The team is responsible for implementing the development strategy for Expo City Dubai and works with variety of stakeholders from the master planning phase, through design and construction, to ensure the delivery of large-scale construction projects.

The Manager- Planning & Programme Controls will be responsible for programme controls function for multiple projects within the portfolio including Master Schedules Management, Reporting, Scheduling, Risks / issues Management and Document Control management, as well as:

• Shall be a strategic thinker and shall possess an advance level of know-how of the tasks through all the development Phases including pre-design, design, construction, handover and the relevant interfaces required at each of the stages.
• Shall be able to produce master integrated development schedules adopting various delivery strategies for the successful implementation of the projects across the various developments.

The main responsibilities for this role include:

• Process of downstream reports and Preparation of various reports / presentations for the specific, analyze and key communications as required.
• Develop the process for the aggregation of data at portfolio level.
• Develop reporting consistency across portfolio.
• Administration of Baseline integrity, through robust interface management.
• Execution of the programme controls, delivering outcomes in line with expectations of programme deliverables, KPIs, operating targets.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, internal and external, prepare reports, performance analyses and presentations as required.
• Take ownership of specific Performance Management KPIs relevant to the role and ensure systems and processes are in place to monitor performance against them and as necessary implement remedial actions to maintain/exceed KPI targets.
• Liaise with stakeholders to develop processes and procedures to capture, reporting and performance management.
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Qualifications and Skills required

8+ years of experience in programme controls / project controls function as well as:

• Experience in working with Contractors (minimum 08 Years), Design Consultants (minimum 02 Years), PMC (minimum 02 Years), Developers (minimum 02 Years) within UAE / Middle East
• Bachelors’ and Masters degree in Engineering, Project Management or Construction Management.
• Discipline specific professional registration – PMI, ICE, RICS or similar
• Experience of latest technologies and use of digital tools for performance improvement, such as Powe BI, Dynamic Dashboards, etc.
• Experience of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic work environment.
• Exceptional Analytical skills to evaluate data and use it to make decisions
