Position Title: Power Platform Expert
Role Overview
The Power Platform Expert will design, develop, deploy, and support enterprise-grade solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. The role requires advanced expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, and integration with external systems. Strong SQL skills and knowledge of .NET or any OOPS-based programming language are essential for building robust and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Development
- Develop scalable applications using Power Apps (Canvas and Model‑Driven).
- Build automated workflows and RPA solutions using Power Automate
- Design reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Work extensively with Dataverse, including table design, relationships, security roles, and data models.
- Use SQL for complex queries, data validation, performance tuning, and integration with Power Platform.
- Use .NET / OOPS programming concepts for advanced logic, reusable components, custom APIs, and backend integrations.
Integration & Automation
- Integrate Power Platform solutions with SQL databases, REST APIs, Azure Functions, SAP, SharePoint, and other enterprise systems.
- Develop and maintain Custom Connectors for external system connectivity.
- Implement secure data access, error handling, and performance optimization.
Technical Leadership & Governance
- Ensure adherence to organizational governance, security, and DLP policies.
- Lead application reviews, architecture validation, and solution design discussions.
- Follow ALM best practices for deployment across DEV → TEST → PROD environments.
Deployment & Support
- Package, deploy, and maintain solutions using managed/unmanaged solutions, Azure DevOps, or GitHub pipelines.
- Provide post‑production support, troubleshooting, and enhancements.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into solution designs.
- Support UAT, conduct training sessions, and prepare documentation.
Technical Skills
Required Skills & Experience
- 4–8+ years of experience in Power Platform development.
- Strong skills in:
- Power Apps (Canvas & Model‑Driven)
- Power Automate
- Dataverse and relational data modelling
- Strong SQL knowledge (queries, joins, stored procedures, optimization).
- Good to have .NET or any OOPS-based programming language.
- Experience with API integration, JSON, XML, REST services.
- Understanding of Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Azure SQL is a plus.
- Experience with ALM, solution deployments, and automation pipelines.

Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certifications (preferred):
- PL‑400: Power Platform Developer Associate
- PL‑600: Power Platform Solution Architect
- Experience with enterprise CoE practices and governance frameworks.
