Job Title: Expert – OMS, Operation Account
Job Location: Mumbai
In this role, you will be customer facing, collaborating with multiple stakeholders, internal & external, to drive efficient and seamless operations, performance management, contracts, rates et al, with proactive engagements, and providing exceptional service to business partners and clients. This role acts as a bridge between customers & DHL network.
Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-end responsibility of OMS files for assigned customers (signed of by regional OMS team)
- Data management incl. leveraging other GSC teams (Data entry + Backline support) according to OMS instruction while maximizing customer satisfaction
- Onboard and educate shipper to comply with customer’s business and logistics requirements
- Follow up on shipper booking, validate the shipping order and release booking confirmation / delivery note to shipper
- Manage carrier booking activities (including booking and necessary documents submission to carrier)
- Prepare CFS consolidation plan and coordinate with warehouse operator to execute the consolidation plan
- Coordinate with internal and external parties to arrange domestic & cross border transportation and comply with necessary Customs formalities
- Manage the billing activities in OMS billing system
- Manage the customer performance via execution report, issue log and other performance report
- Hold the review meeting with origin and destination per the agreed frequency
- Solve the systematical issues for assigned customer
- Manage import activities (including green light , quotation request, B/L approval, pre alert and other necessary activities)
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Professional experience: 2-5 Years of experience in a similar field as a freight forwarder is required.
- Education: Graduation is required.
- Preferred qualification: Knowledge of freight forwarding, logistics, foreign trade.
- Preferred special professional skills: Knowledge of order management operations.
- Language knowledge: Active knowledge of the English language at least at an intermediate level, both spoken and written, is a must.
- Technical skills: MS Office user-level knowledge is a must; strong Excel knowledge is preferred.
- Business system: (OMS systems/CW1/TMS) knowledge is required.
