At AQ Maritime, we believe strong relationships, market insight, and commercial instinct are at the heart of successful tanker broking. As we continue to grow, we are looking to welcome an experienced Tanker Broker to our team.
We are seeking a motivated and commercially driven professional with hands-on experience in CPP, DPP, or Crude tanker markets who is eager to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced shipping environment.
Requirements & Skills:
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in tanker brokerage
• Proven exposure to independently negotiating fixtures and managing chartering operations
• Strong understanding of tanker markets, freight trends, worldscale dynamics, and key trade routes
• Extensive industry network and in-depth knowledge of the tanker shipping sector
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills
• Strong analytical abilities with attention to detail
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and adapt in a fast-moving market
• A proactive team player with a strong commercial mindset
