Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for an Experienced Cashier at Kotak Mahindra Bank, located in Puducherry. The Experienced Cashier will handle daily banking transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and account-related inquiries, while ensuring accuracy and maintaining compliance with banking regulations. Responsibilities also include addressing customer queries, promoting banking products, and maintaining records of transactions to support branch operations effectively.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in cash handling, financial transactions, and record-keeping practices.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle queries and provide solutions promptly.
- Knowledge of banking operations, policies, and compliance regulations.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and financial software systems.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in banking or financial services as a cashier or in a similar role is advantageous.
