Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Canada Counsellor for a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The role involves providing personalized counseling to students pursuing higher education in Canada, assisting with university selection, guidance on admission processes, and visa application support. The counsellor will also conduct research on educational opportunities, keep up-to-date with admission policies and requirements, and provide regular updates to students and stakeholders. Maintaining records, responding to inquiries, and taking part in student counseling events are integral parts of the role.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Canada’s education system, university admission processes, and visa application requirements
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and empathetically
- Proficiency in research, documentation, and updating admission policies
- Experience in personalized counseling and guiding students through their education journey
- Ability to work on-site in Hyderabad and manage multiple student cases efficiently
- Attention to detail, strong organizational abilities, and a customer-focused approach
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred; experience in education consultancy is considered an asset
