The RoleWe are looking for a Communications & Operations Lead - someone who is equally comfortable hosting a traveller in a potter's studio in Jaipur and pitching a bespoke retreat to a travel agent in London. This is a role for someone who loves travel, believes in the power of culture, and wants to build something meaningful.
You will sit at the heart of everything Rajasthan Studio does - from the moment a traveller discovers us to the moment they leave with a piece of Rajasthan in their hands.
ResponsibilitiesCommunity & People Operations
- Hire, onboard, and manage volunteers across multiple cities; assign experiences based on their availability and strengths
- Build genuine, long-term relationships with volunteers - be their go-to person for support, guidance, and timely payouts
- Serve as the primary liaison for artists on the platform; coordinate their participation in experiences, B2B activations, and events; manage relationships and ensure their payouts are handled with care and accuracy
Customer & B2B Communications
- Handle inbound customer enquiries across all channels - WhatsApp, social media, email, and the office number — with warmth and efficiency
- Engage with B2B leads (corporates, travel agencies, event companies, hotels) to understand their goals and co-design customised experience packages
- Plan and pitch tailored art experiences for groups, offsites, MICE events, and tourism programs
- Attend B2B networking events, travel marts, and industry meetups to represent Rajasthan Studio and grow the partnership pipeline
Experience Hosting & Delivery
- Host experiences on the ground - be present, be engaging, ensure every guest leaves with a story worth telling
- Manage bookings end-to-end: confirmation, coordination with artists, logistics, and post-experience follow-up
- Onboard new experiences onto the platform - identify art forms, find the right artists, structure the experience, and get it live
Platform, Listings & Marketing
- Manage listings on the Rajasthan Studio website and third-party travel and experience platforms — keeping content fresh, accurate, and compelling
- Handle social media communications to maintain an active, engaged community presence; coordinate with any content or marketing partners
- Identify and pursue relevant collaborations - with travel influencers, travel agencies, cultural organisations, hotels, and tourism boards
- Monitor website performance and flag any issues to the tech team
Business Strategy & Growth
- Identify new cities, art forms, and traveller segments to expand Rajasthan Studio's footprint
- Track market trends in cultural tourism and experience travel; bring actionable insights to the team
- Help build and refine the B2B sales strategy - pricing, packaging, pitch decks, and outreach
- Think like an owner: spot gaps, propose solutions, and take initiative without waiting to be asked

- The full lifecycle of a travel experience business - from curation to marketing to delivery
- How to sell to and manage B2B clients - corporates, travel agencies, event planners, and government tourism bodies

- What sustainable, responsible tourism actually looks like in practice
- How to operate across multiple cities and manage distributed teams
- Knowledge of Rajasthan's extraordinary artistic heritage
