About the Role
The Experience & Events Lead is the creative and operational backbone of Student Tribe's community engagement. This person designs, plans, and executes experiences for students from intimate micro-community meetups of 30 people to large-scale flagship events with 500+ attendees. They work closely with the Campus Formation Team to activate already-built communities and can also operate standalone for special initiatives. The ideal candidate is someone who lives and breathes events, thrives in fast-paced environments, and gets excited about creating memorable moments for students.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and execute student-facing events of varying scales from 30-person workshops to 500+ person flagship experiences.
• Collaborate with the Campus Formation Team to identify community engagement opportunities and co-create event formats.
• Own the end-to-end event lifecycle: concept, logistics, communication, execution, and post-event review.
• Design and grow micro-communities based on student interests (e.g., entrepreneurship, design, tech, sports, arts) both online and offline.
• Build and maintain a talent pool of students who can perform, speak, host, or volunteer at events for any college event requirement or fulfillment.
• Respond to ad-hoc or short-notice event requirements from campuses or internal teams and execute them seamlessly.
• Coordinate internal team communications align with the Campus Team on event readiness, student turnout expectations, and post-event feedback.
• Track and analyse event metrics including footfall, NPS scores, ticket sales, and micro-community growth.
• Identify and onboard event partners, venues, and performers as needed.
• Continuously ideate on new experience formats that resonate with the current student generation.
Who You Are
• 0–2 years of experience in event management, community building, or student engagement.
• Proven track record of executing events big and small with minimal supervision.
• Highly creative with the ability to design unique, engaging experiences on both tight budgets and larger productions.
