Healthcare Internship Analytics

EXL is a leading data analytics and digital operations and solutions company. They are seeking a Healthcare Analytics Intern to work on projects that drive business in the healthcare industry, focusing on data and analytics to improve care delivery and management. Responsibilities: - Help preprocess and organize datasets for deep learning models - Collaborate with the team to design, implement, and train deep neural networks (e.g., CNNs, RNNs, transformers) for generating embeddings for various tasks, such as text similarity, recommendation systems, or classification. - Collaborate with subject matter experts to gain a fair understanding of domain to aid in model development - Assist in evaluating the quality and performance of embeddings using various metrics like cosine similarity, clustering, downstream task performance - Contribute to documenting the modeling process, experimental results, and insights. - Assist in preparing reports or presentations to communicate key findings to the team and stakeholders. - Oversee the quality audit process for all correspondence to ensure it meets organizational quality standards. Qualification: - Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Infomatics, Analytics or related field. - Experience in Neural networks, machine learning and/or deep learning - Critical thinking and problem solving. - Ability to work with cross-functional teams. - Strong written and verbal communication skills.
