About the Role:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead and oversee the execution of complex projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. You will be responsible for managing project scope, timelines, budgets, and resources, while effectively communicating with stakeholders and mitigating risks to deliver successful outcomes. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and project management expertise to drive projects to completion on time and within budget.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Strategy: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements. Define project deliverables, milestones, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders and project teams. Identify and analyze project risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project execution.
- Team Leadership and Management: Lead cross-functional project teams, providing direction, guidance, and support to team members throughout the project lifecycle. Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting effective communication and teamwork. Delegate tasks and responsibilities appropriately, ensuring accountability and adherence to project timelines and goals.
- Project Execution and Monitoring: Execute project plans, monitor project progress, and track key performance indicators to ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Conduct regular project status meetings and provide updates to stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues. Implement project management best practices and methodologies to optimize project outcomes and efficiency.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations and addressing concerns proactively. Communicate effectively with project sponsors, steering committees, and stakeholders, providing regular updates and seeking feedback as needed. Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts or issues that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement: Conduct project reviews and evaluations to assess project performance and identify areas for improvement. Implement quality assurance processes and measures to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed expectations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management function, sharing lessons learned and best practices across project teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, engineering, or a related field required; master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) preferred.
- Experience in project management roles, with demonstrated success in leading and delivering complex projects within scope, budget, and schedule constraints.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate cross-functional project teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proven track record of driving project success through strategic planning, risk management, and effective execution.
Pay Disclosure
"The salary range for this position starts at $85,000.00; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonus opportunities may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered."
