Assist in providing tax advice, which ensures optimum tax benefits for both the employer and employee.
- Conducting entry and exit meeting with expatriates / assisgnees and assist them with local registrations, preparating and filing personal tax returns, requisite compliances relating to the assignment.
- Assist in compensation structuring, advising on both domestic and cross border employee stock option plans.
- Assist employer in payroll/withholding tax compliance
- Assist in other compliance services relating to setting up of liaison offices, visa assistance, social security assistance, etc.
- Understanding of various tax treaties and application of relevent articles of the treaty in finalising personnel tax returns / advisory engagements.
- Ensure filing/document management from an internal review perspective
- Compliance with firm's internal risk management policies and client administration
- Ensure proficiency with firm's internal tools and technologies to upload client deliverables, etc
- Preparing power point presentation on client deliverables, topics for internal trainings, etc.
- Ensure client trackers, billing trackers, are upto date and provide real time updates
Qualifications
- 0-1 years of post-qualification Experience
- Good Communication
- Experience in Individual taxation during Articleship will be added advantage
