Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Stores Executive with 2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. The candidate will be responsible for managing store operations, inventory control, material handling, and maintaining accurate stock records to support smooth factory operations.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage daily store operations including receipt, storage, and issue of materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock details in ERP/software systems.
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and prepare GRN (Goods Receipt Note).
- Issue materials to production departments as per approved requisitions.
- Monitor stock levels and inform management about reorder requirements.
- Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
- Ensure proper labeling, storage, and preservation of raw materials, consumables, and finished goods.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO methods for material handling and inventory control.
- Coordinate with purchase, production, and logistics teams for smooth material flow.
- Maintain proper documentation of inward/outward transactions and stock registers.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance within the store area.
- Assist during internal and external audits by providing necessary inventory records.
- Prepare daily/monthly inventory and stock movement reports.
- Minimize material loss, damage, and wastage through proper handling practices.
Qualification & Experience
- Any Graduate / Diploma
- Additional certification in Stores or Inventory Management is an added advantage.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience as a Stores Executive/Store Keeper in a manufacturing factory.
