Role Description
The Executive/Senior Executive/Assistant Manager - Sales will be responsible for driving sales and business growth through efficient client relationship management. Daily responsibilities include identifying potential customers, negotiating contracts, preparing sales proposals, generating leads, and increasing market outreach. This is a full-time, on-site role based in South Delhi, which offers the opportunity to collaborate with clients, work closely with the operations team, and achieve business targets in shipping and logistics services.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Sales, Negotiations, and Client Relationship Management
- Strong knowledge of Shipping, Logistics and Freight Forwarding fundamentals
- Effective Communication, Presentation, and Interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work in a results-driven environment
- Proficiency in Market Research and Business Development strategies
- Proactive attitude, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently
- Prior experience in the shipping or logistics industry is preferred
- Bachelorβs degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Commerce, or a related field

- Develop new business opportunities in freight forwarding (Air & Sea)/Shipping/NVOCC
- Generate leads and convert them into long-term clients
- Maintain strong relationships with exporters/importers
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets
- Coordinate with operations team for smooth shipment execution
- Stay updated on market trends, freight rates, and competitor activities
- Around 5 years in selling Shipping Line/NVOCC/Freight Forwarding services across ICDs in North India
- Control on Credit/Receivables
These positions are at Seahorse office in South Delhi location.
