Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a talented Executive Sous Chef – Continental Cuisine Expert to lead and elevate the culinary experience at its Alleppey resort. The role involves supporting the Executive Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring exceptional food quality, and delivering innovative continental cuisine for resort guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Continental cuisine section and ensure high culinary standards.
- Support the Executive Chef in menu planning, costing, and recipe development.
- Supervise kitchen staff and maintain operational efficiency.
- Ensure food quality, hygiene, and safety standards as per hospitality guidelines.
- Manage inventory, vendor coordination, and cost control.
- Train and mentor junior chefs and kitchen teams.
- Ensure guest satisfaction through consistent taste, presentation, and service quality.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as Executive Sous Chef / Sous Chef in luxury hotels or resorts.
- Strong expertise in Continental cuisine and modern plating techniques.
- Experience in high-volume resort or hospitality kitchens.
- Excellent team leadership and kitchen management skills.
- Strong understanding of food cost control and kitchen operations.
