Key Responsibilities
- Follow up on outstanding insurance claims with commercial and government payers.
- Analyze and resolve denied, rejected, and underpaid claims in accordance with payer guidelines.
- Work on aging reports to ensure timely collections and reduce outstanding Accounts Receivable.
- Investigate claim issues and determine the appropriate resolution to maximize reimbursement.
- Process appeals, corrected claims, reconsiderations, and payment reviews when required.
- Ensure all claim updates, call notes, and actions are accurately documented in the billing system.
- Meet daily productivity, quality, and collection targets established by the client and management.
- Prioritize high-value and aging accounts to improve cash flow.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, client-specific requirements, and company policies.
- Assist Team Leaders in monitoring team performance and resolving operational issues.
- Provide guidance and on-the-job support to new joiners and junior AR Executives.
- Share knowledge on payer policies, denial trends, and process updates with the team.
- Participate in internal quality audits, calibration sessions, and client meetings when required.
- Identify recurring denial patterns and recommend corrective actions to improve first-pass claim resolution.
- Collaborate with Billing, Payment Posting, Credentialing, and other internal teams to resolve claim-related issues.
- Prepare productivity and status reports as requested by management.
- Maintain excellent attendance, adherence, and professional workplace conduct.
- Continuously enhance knowledge of US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), payer policies, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
- Expertise in AR Follow-up, Insurance Collections, and Denial Management.
- Good understanding of Commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care payers.
- Ability to work in rotational or US night shifts as required.
