Executive Search Partner (Practice Lead – Player Coach)
Location: Mumbai (Preferred) | Open to Remote

About Us
We are a fast-growing leadership hiring and talent advisory firm working with top-tier organisations across industries. As we scale our Executive Search vertical, we are looking for a seasoned Executive Search professional who can independently lead mandates while building a high-quality, scalable search capability within the team.
Role Mandate
This is a player–coach role.
You will:
- Independently lead and close CXO/Board-level mandates
- Mentor and elevate our existing team on executive search practices
- Build a structured, repeatable executive search engine
Key Responsibilities
1. Mandate Ownership (Core)
- Independently manage end-to-end executive search mandates
- Engage with CXO/Board stakeholders and drive search strategy
- Ensure high-quality delivery across mapping, assessment, and closure
2. Team Mentorship & Capability Building
- Coach consultants on:
- Market mapping and research depth
- Candidate approach and positioning
- Stakeholder management and closing
- Conduct regular reviews and structured learning interventions
3. Process & Practice Building
- Establish best practices and playbooks for executive search
- Bring structure to:
- Talent mapping frameworks
- Candidate evaluation standards
- Client advisory approach
- Improve consistency and quality across mandates
4. Business Contribution
- Support client acquisition and strategic conversations (as needed)
- Help shape and scale the Executive Search vertical
Required Experience
- 10+ years in Executive Search / Leadership Hiring
- Strong track record of independently closing CXO/Board mandates
- Experience with reputed executive search firms
- Demonstrated ability to mentor or develop consultants
- Strong client presence and senior stakeholder management skills
