Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Executive Quantity Surveyor based in Bengaluru South. The Executive Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for preparing detailed cost estimates, managing budgets, and ensuring effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Additional responsibilities include contract administration, preparation of bills of quantity, valuation of works, overseeing tender documentation, and liaising with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure cost-effective project delivery. The role requires a keen eye for detail and a strong commitment to achieving project objectives on time and within budget.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Quantity Surveying, cost estimation, and budgeting
- Strong knowledge of tender documentation, contract administration, and related processes
- Proficiency in project management tools and software related to cost estimation
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet stringent deadlines
- Relevant degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
- Experience in the interior design, construction, or fit-out industry is preferred
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and standards is advantageous
