Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Executive Purchase, based in Kolkata. The role involves managing day-to-day purchasing activities, such as creating and handling purchase orders and requisitions, sourcing materials and vendors, and ensuring timely procurement of goods. Additionally, the role requires effective vendor communication and negotiation to ensure cost efficiency and quality, along with maintaining accurate procurement records and reports.
Qualifications
- Knowledge and experience in managing Purchase Orders, Purchase Requisitions, and overall Purchase Management
- Proficiency in handling Procurement processes with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal Communication skills, with a focus on vendor relationship management
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines under minimal supervision
- Prior experience in a procurement or purchasing role is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of the copper alloy industry or related sectors is preferred
- Proficiency with procurement tools and software is a plus
