Roles & Responsibilities:
- Packaging Management: Oversee the packaging of aerospace consumables and related products to ensure they meet quality standards, safety regulations, and AS9120 certification requirements.
- Material Handling: Ensure proper handling and storage of products before packaging, ensuring they are safe from damage and easily accessible for dispatch.
- Labelling and Documentation: Ensure all packages are accurately labelled with the correct part numbers, quantities, batch numbers, and shipping details in compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct final checks to ensure that products are packed securely, labelling is correct, and packaging meets the specific requirements for shipping, including any special handling instructions for sensitive materials.
- Dispatch Coordination: Coordinate the dispatch process to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers, working closely with shipping carriers and logistics teams to organize transportation.
- Inventory Control: Ensure that dispatch records are updated, and any packaging materials or items in stock are adequately inventoried and replenished as needed.
- Compliance with Safety Standards: Ensure that packaging meets relevant safety regulations, including those specific to aerospace and aerospace consumables, and complies with AS9120 requirements.
- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records for dispatched goods, including tracking numbers, shipping documents, and customer orders, to ensure traceability and audit readiness.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to process improvements by identifying packaging inefficiencies, proposing solutions to enhance the packaging process, and reducing costs where possible.
- Collaboration with Other Teams: Work closely with the Quality and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth coordination between packaging, inspection, and dispatch operations.
